As one of the leading, fully agile commercial law firms in the UK, Excello Law have been using Document Vault Datarooms, on an ad-hoc basis, for a variety of M&A projects enabling specific lawyers and other parties to securely access project documents.
We decided to carry out a review of the market to put in place a corporate relationship with a data room provider, and considered several of the leading products. I am pleased to say that we have chosen Document Vault Systems as our business partner for data rooms. This will provide a cost effective data room service to our circa 70 corporate lawyers.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to find an easy to use system which could allow access to multiple parties, none of whom should be aware of each other. Security was of paramount importance. we needed to control what the various interested parties could see. We also needed to be able to track what individual users had looked at.
